Does anyone else feel SO overwhelmed right now? BECAUSE I DO! School is so close to coming to an end, I'm in over my head with that, on top of it theres laundry, dishes, a messy house, cooking, and not to mention a little two-year old who seems to get into everything and make a mess of anything! I cannot wait until December 9th when I am FREEEEE! But then, the real stress begins because I have yet to find a job, and we all know with subsidy you get your three months and then bam that's it, see ya later! If I lose my daycare I will be SCREWED because apparently, once they pass into the preschool age (Akeira will be there in a couple months), there is VERY limited funding and spaces, so I'm scared. Not to mention we're thinking about moving, and then I have to look into new daycares, as well as new apartments, and I dont even want to keep talking about this because my head is spinning.
Has anyone ever had trouble with their daycares? My bf and I were TWO F-ING minutes late the other day picking up baby girl (and I called to warn them), yet we were force to pay a whopping FIFTEEN DOLLARS. how ridiculous is that? When i know MANY of my friends and a daycare centre I used to volunteer at that dont enforce late fees at all, like really TWO MINUTES? Still VERY upset over that, if it was easy to change daycares believe me I would up and leave that one in a SECOND.
My friend also told me a story the other day about how she sent her son with his brand new winter coat to daycare, and the staff managed to break the zipper on the first day. I mean COME ON!! We dont need MORE expenses to pay on top of what we already have to pay in our lives... This is a serious rant Im just pissed and my school work is making my head hurt right now so this may not even make any sense. Back to school stuff, a bunch of my classes are literally falling apart (one was a complete mishap with a sick prof and then the TA trying to put the class back together again after that and after department and institutional barriers for our course), but another is just pure nonsense, the prof not having any idea about anything, the students all confused, no one has learned anything and this was a course i had heard great things about when it was taught by other people. This is my last semester of undergrad and I guess i had high expectations, but then all of my classes seem to be managing to piss me off - with date changes, assignment changes and etc at the last minute - this is NOT fair to us.
ANYWAYS, that was a lot, but everyone feel free to add or comment if you have similar piss-off things on your mind!
